Glimmer

by Leah Koransky

Glimmer is Leah Koransky’s first photo book, featuring a selection of photographs taken between 2020 and 2025. The title refers to two meanings; first, a shimmering quality of light; second, in the context of mental health, a moment that sparks joy or a sense of safety — the opposite of a trigger.

In destabilizing times, noticing subtle beauty can affirm our existence and help us feel safe. In Glimmer, light and shadow become the central, reassuring characters in an otherwise ambiguous narrative.
